Seiden Law has filed a lawsuit in the United States District Court, Southern District of New York against insurance giant Guardian and its wholly-owned subsidiary Park Avenue Securities on behalf of two former employees and their companies, Flo Free and Currence.
The complaint alleges that Defendants exploited and stole highly specialized and valuable technology from Plaintiffs to develop an unfairly competitive software platform of their own. Defendants are further alleged to have caused immense economic and reputational damage to Plaintiffs through a deliberate campaign to disrupt and ruin their business. Plaintiffs seek damages to hold Guardian accountable for misappropriating their highly confidential trade secrets, breaching confidentiality agreements, interfering with Plaintiffs’ business, and withholding commissions.
The Seiden Law team on this matter includes partners Michael Stolper and Amiad Kushner, counsel Thomas Mott, associates Lex Baird and Isaac Bills, and paralegal Claudia Varner. A copy of the Complaint is available here.
