Summer Associate
Program

Ten weeks inside a working litigation practice, with substantive assignments and direct mentorship from the first week.

Most summer programs promise real work. Seiden Law delivers it. From the first week, Summer Associates are assigned to active matters across the firm’s full range of practice areas and are treated as contributors, not observers. The cases are real. The partners are accessible. The feedback is direct and given in real time.

The program is built around one principle: the best way to learn to litigate is to litigate. Summer Associates work on complex commercial disputes, international arbitrations, OFAC proceedings, sovereign nation representations, and pro bono matters alongside partners and associates who are invested in their development because they are working toward the same outcome.

Mentorship at Seiden Law is not a program feature. It is how the firm works. Every Summer Associate is paired with an attorney mentor and has direct access to partners throughout the ten-week program.

What to expect

Trainings

Substantive sessions on litigation practice, legal writing, and the firm's core practice areas, led by attorneys who work on these matters every day.

Presentations

Attorney-led sessions offering direct insight into active matters, case strategy, and how the firm approaches complex international litigation from the inside.

Mentorship

Each Summer Associate is paired with an attorney mentor for the duration of the program. The relationship is a working one, built around shared matters and real feedback, not a scheduled check-in.

Team events

Social events, dinners, lunches, and coffees throughout the summer. The goal is for Summer Associates to leave knowing the people they worked with, not just the work they did.
