In March 2023, Seiden Law won a partial victory in a long-standing battle against a major New York hedge fund. The counter-claims against the clients were thrown out by the jury after a three-week intense trial in Manhattan state Supreme Court. The firm’s litigation team challenged an underlying breach of oral employment agreement between the fund Touradji Capital and its former fund managers.

Veteran lawyers Michael Stolper, Dave Greenberger, and Jen Blecher (assisted by associate Priya Lehal and paralegals Claudia Varner and Lily Dempsey) led the trial team. The case was set to be re-tried, as the six-person jury hung 4-2 in favor of our clients, former employees Rob Vollero and Gentry Beach.
