Michael Stolper leads Seiden Law’s trial practice as a Partner and the firm’s Head of Trial Practice, bringing decades of experience as a trial attorney and appellate advocate in New York and federal courts, including the Appellate Division and the New York Court of Appeals. His courtroom record includes a $90 million jury verdict as lead trial counsel in Manhattan, and his work spans complex commercial litigation, employment and labor matters, real estate litigation, fraud claims, and judgment enforcement. He was previously a partner at Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe.

Stolper is the lawyer clients turn to when a matter is going to be tried and the outcome cannot be left to chance. He is known for trying cases to verdict and for the judgment that comes from having done it many times, and he negotiated the first UFT collective-bargaining agreement for a New York City charter school, a matter covered by The New York Times and the New York Daily News.

He tries and resolves complex commercial, employment, and real estate disputes to verdict and through appeal, with and against the nation’s leading firms, and co-counsel and referring firms bring him in for matters headed to trial. He also serves as General Counsel to Atlantic Development Group and a rapidly growing energy-services company in the New York and New Jersey metropolitan area.
